Primula denticulata, also know as the Drumstick primula (Primrose) due to the ball of small flowers produced at the end of erect stems. Smaller in size than the Beesiana/Candelabra primulas this grows to around 30cm in height and flowers earlier from March – May so a combination of the two gives a good long flowering season. Produces primarily blue (I think purple!) flower heads with occasionally the odd pinky purple and possibly a few whites all with yellow eyes. It has an RHS AGM.Height: 30cmPlanting position: Damp soil in partial shade or full sunForm: 9cm (0.5 litre) pots -please select size below
