Using the Arrange tool

The _Arrange tool_ (shown in Figure 5-1) enables you to move, resize, or crop a selected image. You can also use this tool to rotate, flip, and add a border.

**Figure 5-1:** The Arrange tool enables you to manipulate image files.

The arrangement method involves using the right and left arrow keys to position the image and using the forward and backward arrow keys to move the image around. When the image is in the correct position, use the spacebar or enter key to lock the image into place. Hold down the spacebar or enter key to maintain the current arrangement of the image and press the keys again to change the arrangement.

Photoshop For PC

There are many tutorials on how to use the software. However, some basic tips are still pertinent for you to use Photoshop Elements the way you would expect it.

1. Use Layer Masks

Using layer masks is a simple way to edit an image. It makes it easier to remove or add parts of an image.

Find the “Layer Mask” tool in the Tools palette. (Tools menu)

It is very easy to use. You find the tool in the Tools palette, a menu beside the Crop tool.

A selection box in the image shows you the areas to be masked, and the softening of the edges is a special feature.

Layers in the Elements version are usually smaller in size than the layers in Photoshop. Photoshop Elements supports Layers up to 64K.

If you have a large image, you can resize the image and create several smaller layers. Use the Resize tool to achieve this. It works similar to the Resize tool in the Multimedia Center.

If you want to find an image in an album or in a folder, right-click on the image to bring up a context menu. Then use the Open in Finder option.

2. Increase the Size of the Canvas

By default, your Canvas is set to 1500 x 1200. However, if you think the image is too small, increase the size of the canvas.

You can zoom in by using the Zoom tool (H) or the zoom tool (L).

The image should remain in the same proportions. Zoom out again by pressing Ctrl + 0 (0) or using the zoom tool, L.

Press Ctrl + 0 (0) while using the zoom tool, L. Use the Zoom tool H to zoom in and out of the image.

Use the Crop tool to crop the image if it is not wide enough. It will help you to crop a specific part of the image.

Using the Move tool (V) it is possible to move the image to any area of the canvas.

3. Edit the image

You can add shadows, highlights and any other adjustments to the image. Click on the image to select it before editing.

Use the Corrective Lens tool (Q) to change any blur in the image.

Use the Basic tool (O) to change any color to a different color.

4. Apply Adjustment L

1. Technical Field
The present invention relates generally to robotic surgical systems and more particularly to a tool exchange system for surgical robots.
2. Description of the Related Art
Minimally invasive medical techniques are becoming more common. In particular, surgeons are beginning to perform many procedures through small incisions in the skin, as compared to the larger incisions typically required in traditional methods. The skin incisions are typically about two inches in length, reducing the trauma to the patient. These techniques provide the surgeon with reduced access to the internal organs of the patient. However, the surgeon must be able to view the surgical site, and therefore still requires access to the internal organs, such as the heart, kidneys, lungs, etc. As a result, the surgeon must make a large incision through the patient’s skin, underlying tissue, and organs. In such procedures, the internal organs or tissue are retracted to allow the surgeon to view the surgical area. In other procedures, the surgeon may make a series of small incisions through the patient’s skin, retract tissue, and work through the small incisions to view the surgical site.
In retraction, a mechanical assistance device may be used to retract the tissue. The tissue may be retracted through the use of a retractor positioned between the skin and the surgical site. These retractors allow retraction of tissue without significant distortion of the tissue. Retraction allows the surgeon to easily view the surgical area. In particular, the retractor and retraction may distract the patient’s tissue and create an opening in the tissue. By providing access to the surgical area, the surgeon is able to perform many more procedures in less time.
The retractor may be inserted percutaneously through small incisions in the patient’s body. Surgical tools may then be inserted through the retractor, and the tools may be remotely operated. For example, a number of surgical tools may be inserted through the retractor and maneuvered by the surgeon to perform a medical procedure at the surgical site. As a result, these types of medical procedures are generally less invasive as compared to traditional open-incision surgery. In particular, the retractor and other devices provide access for the surgeon to the tissue through the small incisions. However, retractors typically require the surgeon to manually remove and replace the retractor, increasing the amount of time spent by the surgeon. In particular, the retractor may be positioned in the patient such that the trocar is only partially retracted. In particular, the retractor may retract only
